Welcome Plant Lovers!

Thank you for visiting my small business shop where its my mission to help plant parents get the supplies they need to grow happy healthy plants without having to do as much work.

When I set out on my journey I had 3 goals: creating a better mix for my plants, helping their foliage grow to be the big and beautiful versions they are meant to be, and of course spying on those roots! My small business sets out to provide plant parents with the products to do these things and find them in all in one place.

I started out with the soil mix because that's where all of our plantitas start. Let's face it, there are so many chunky mixes out there and its hard to know what mix will work for your plants. I've done the research and experimented with different soil amendments and this mixture is what has worked the best for myself and customers like you. When I first started making my own mix, it was a challenge to find all the ingredients in stock at my local nurseries. I also lived in an apartment and didn't have the luxury of lots of space. Personally, I find it pretty relaxing to make my chunky mix, but I realize that its an additional step that takes time (and a mess). I wanted to take out some of the leg work for plant parents, whether new to the addiction or well experienced.

Once I got the mix down, I realized that a lot of the plants in my collection could really benefit from a better support system. I set out trying different moss poles. I tried the coco coir poles but they didn't really encourage the growth I wanted. I tried another circular pole that I could add sphagnum moss too but but found that the plastic was too thick, the diameter and size of the openings were too small. Then I found these clear moss poles that could hold a better amount of sphagnum moss and were providing the best amount of support for letting my plantitas thrive while allowing me to spy on those roots!

In tow with my new found obsession for spying on roots, I wanted to spy on the roots in the soil, so I set out to find clear pots in the size that was most used by you. I wanted a pot that could support the roots for longer periods of time as the aerial roots developed into the moss poles. I found that the sizes that worked best for this was 3” & 4” for baby plants
, 6" (14 cm) for midsized and 8" (20 cm) & 10” for those plants that develop larger root systems. These are NOW AVAILABLE!
